Who scored Villa's goal in their 1-0 win against Stoke City on the opening day of the 2014/15 Premier League season?

This comes in reference to the fact that Kitson, who has launched a bid to become the new chief executive of the PFA, had to apologise for the “clumsy language” he used in an interview two years ago regarding the racist abuse suffered by Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling (per Daily Mirror via Sky Sports).

This post from Mings then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans with their thoughts on the matter.

Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post from Mings:

Was Dave Kitson right to compare his own abuse to Sterling's racist abuse?

The clumsy language Kitson is referring to is when he used an instance when he was abused on social media in comparison to the racial abuse Sterling fell victim to by Chelsea supporters back in December 2018 (per Daily Mirror). Now that Mings has come out and claimed that he wants to have a chat with Kitson on the situation, this gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were quick to rally around their defender.

What do we think?

It’s good to see these Villa fans getting behind Mings while he wants to share his thoughts with Kitson on the situation at hand.
