Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to discuss James Chester’s future at the club.
This comes after Villa news Twitter account @AVFC_News shared a post on their page asking their followers if they would give the centre-half a new contract at the club.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were quick to pipe up with their views on Chester and a potential new contract for the Welshman.

The 31-year-old left Villa back in January on a loan deal to Championship side Stoke City until the end of the season (per Transfermarkt). Chester’s contract at the club expires at the end of June this year. Now that the question has been put to these Villa fans on whether they would offer Chester a new contract at the club or not, this opened the door for lots of Villans to share their thoughts on the defender and his future at Villa Park.
100% he should. He’s definitely a better defender than hause and konza. He played a few games for Stoke so he should get a chance to prove he can stay fit
