The game had taken place in April 2017 and it had seen the Owls win 2-1 at home against the Magpies. Tom Lees had opened the scoring for the Owls, who had Carlos Carvalhal in-charge back then. Steven Fletcher had doubled the lead and Jonjo Shelvey had pulled one back for Newcastle United.
The win had seen Wednesday remain at sixth in the table, while Newcastle stayed at second behind Brighton.
What do we think?
It was certainly a good time for the club, considering they finished fourth in the table. Keeping in mind that they are 15th in the table, they certainly were better times than the current one. Owls fans can certainly hope that times like those come back soon in the future.
