What do we think?

When he completed his takeover of the club, Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri claimed that he would “do whatever is appropriate to invest in the club to get them to the Premier League”, as per the BBC. However, Chansiri has now been the Owls’ owner for more than five years and the club currently sit in 15th place on the Championship table, which puts them nine places away from the playoffs and just seven places away from the relegation zone.

Considering that it doesn’t currently look likely that the Owls will earn promotion to the Premier League for next season, despite reports claiming that Chansiri wanted to take Wednesday to England’s top-flight within two years after he completed a takeover of the club in 2015, it may be understandable why some Wednesday supporters have been sharing some negative comments for their squad, their manager, and their transfer committee lately.
