When was Rangers Football Club incepted?

In reaction to the footage, fans of Rangers have flocked to have their say on the goal as well as the man himself, with many stating their belief that Walters is a hero of the club, while others have claimed that the 55-year-old was a joy to watch in a Rangers shirt.

What do we think?

Rangers fans clearly have extremely fond memories of Walters at their club, and considering his goalscoring record while with the Gers, it is not hard to see why.

The left-midfielder scored 52 goals in 144 appearances for the Scottish giants (via Fitbastats), before being sold to Liverpool for what was then a princely sum of £1.35 million.

The 55-year-old went on to play for teams including Stoke City, Wolves, Southampton, and Swindon Town, before retiring at Bristol Rovers.
