Fans of Rangers have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which highlights footage of Gers striker Jermain Defoe showing fans exactly how he is spending his time while under lockdown.
In the footage, which was uploaded by the official Rangers Twitter account, Defoe states “If I can’t be at Ibrox right now, I’ll bring Ibrox here,” before performing a few keep-ups and passes in his garden.
In reaction to the post, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the footage, with many claiming that the 37-year-old understands what it means to play for the club, while others have stated that the striker looks like he is in good shape in order to return to football as soon as the season restarts.

What do we think?
While many of the Rangers fans appear to hold Defoe in very high regard, it is not hard to see why.
This season the striker has scored 13 goals and provided one assist in his 20 Scottish Premiership appearances, in addition to a further two goals in his seven Europa League fixtures, and two goals across the Scottish domestic cups.
The £1.26 million-rated forward is joining Rangers from Bournemouth on a permanent deal at the end of this season, meaning that fans of the Gers will have plenty of time to enjoy Defoe in their club’s colours over the foreseeable future.
