Many Rangers fans have flocked to a tweet from former striker Marco Negri. The Italian was on the club’s books between July 1997 and November 2001 before returning to his country of birth to sign for Bologna.
Negri was a revelation when he first arrived at Ibrox, scoring an incredible 23 goals in his first 10 league games for the club (as per the Daily Record). However, his fine form was disrupted by an eye injury and subsequently, his goal return in the second half of the season was affected.
In his latest post, the now 49-year-old can be seen wearing a waistcoat and a bow tie whilst playing pool on a miniature table in his kitchen. Here is how some of the club’s supporters have responded to their former player’s antics.
