What do we think?

While Forest fans may be more inclined to swear by Cash due to club loyalties, the players are actually remarkably well-matched.

Over the course of the Championship season, Cash has scored three goals and provided four assists, while Ayling has scored four goals and provided three assists.

However, with an average WhoScored match rating of 7.35 from his 32 Championship appearances at right-back, Cash does slightly edge Ayling, who has a rating of 7.29 from his 19 games in the position.

As such, it would appear that Forest fans are right to back their right-back for the accolade of the best in the Championship.
