A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a tweet from Andrea Radrizzani after he responded to a post by Tariq Panja, who was relaying quotes made by La Liga’s president Javier Tebas.
In a statement, Tebas criticised France’s decision to end both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 because of this viral pandemic and claimed that playing football behind closed doors would be no more dangerous than working in a factory or a fishing boat.
It seems from Radrizzani’s tweet that he agreed with this.
This has drawn a reaction from these Leeds fans.
Do you agree with Radrizzani's tweet?
Yes, he is spot on
No, he is wrong

I wonder if the powers that be took into account the money that fans have spent in supporting their teams when they made the decision to end their season. The teams that gain from this decision are those already in the top league who won’t be relegated.

Imagine if they cancel the league and we lose Harrison, Costa, White, Augustin. We wouldnt be able to purchase them without Premier League money.

Most building sites have more people than these matches would host, bewildering

What do we think?
France followed the Netherlands in cancelling the rest of their season, but France have not settled on how to decide the final table yet.
The EFL, though, remain determined to finish the season – which can be considered a good thing for the Whites.
Certainly, judging by Radrizzani’s tweet, he agrees with Tebas that football can resume at some point in the near future.
Leeds are currently top of the Championship and are seven points clear of third, so it is easy to see why they want the season to resume.
