In response to Sky Sports’ tweet asking fans to vote for the Championship goal of the season so far, a group of Leeds United supporters have made their disappointment known.
This was regarding the fact that Luke Ayling’s stunning volley versus Huddersfield Town wasn’t one of the five nominees.
Here is what some of the Elland Road faithful had to say.

What do we think?
It’s clear that these Leeds United supporters feel Luke Ayling’s goal in particular, should have been included in the final five. The goal came inside three minutes during the recent Yorkshire derby, a game Marcelo Bielsa’s side won 2-0 to move seven points clear of Fulham in third place (via BBC).
That was the last fixture the Whites were involved in before the EFL was suspended due to the viral outbreak. Ayling has been Bielsa’s most consistent performer this season with an average performance rating in the Championship of 7.31/10 according to WhoScored.com. This shows how important a player he is to the club.
