Fans of Charlton Athletic have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which highlights footage from the Netflix documentary ‘Sunderland ‘Til I Die’.
The footage features Charlton’s League One play-off final victory over Sunderland last season, in which Patrick Bauer scored a dramatic late winner to send the club to the Championship.
In reaction to the footage, fans of Charlton have flocked to have their say, with many mocking Sunderland as their club spoiled the Black Cats’ season as well as the subsequent documentary, while others have stated that they feel slightly sorry for their defeated opponents.

What do we think?
Charlton certainly spoiled the Sunderland party with their play-off final win, both in footballing terms and for the documentary, with fans of the club still revelling in their glory.
This season, however, Charlton are not faring as well as in their promotion-winning season last year, with the club currently sitting in 22nd place in the Championship table, two points off safety.
Having said this, no matter the outcome of their Championship campaign this term, Charlton fans will always have the memories of that dramatic play-off final victory.
