Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest revelation from former midfield man Victor Wanyama.
This comes after Celtic journalist Kieran Devlin shared a post on his official Twitter page relaying comments made by Wanyama in a recent interview with The Athletic’s Andy Mitten.
In the interview, Wanyama revealed his intention to play for Celtic before his retirement, claiming to have “unfinished business” at the club he revealed he still loves.
This post then gathered a number of replies from Celtic fans who were quick to share their reactions to this revelation from the midfielder.
Here’s a sample of Celtic fans responding to the post:
"I want to play for Celtic again before I finish. I have unfinished business there. I love that club."

He can bolt. He had his chance. We don’t need more Roy Keane end of career players.

Don’t want him back personally

Would you want Victor Wanyama to return to Celtic?
Yes
No
The 28-year-old spent two years at the club between 2011 and 2013 where he made a total of 91 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists (per Transfermarkt). Now that Wanyama has come out and claimed he wants to return to Celtic before he retires, this news has not excited a lot of Celtic fans who were less than impressed with his latest comments.
Need to be before he is over the hill,we dont want players to come back just to pull on the top, they need to offer us something on the park.?

Celtic is not a resting ground for players that have past it. The last window was the only chance he had of ever coming back to Celtic.

What do we think?
It’s nice to hear Wanyama still has a lot of love and admiration for his former club. However, the reaction from these Celtic fans suggests that they have moved on from Wanyama and would not be willing to see him make a return anytime soon.
