As Jozo Simunovic prepared to take part in a Q&A with Celtic fans on social media, many flocked to the club’s tweet in order to list what they wanted to ask the Croatian defender.
The 25-year-old joined the club from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015 in a deal reportedly worth £6.75m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). Since then, the player has gone on to make 126 appearances for the Hoops, scoring five goals and providing his teammates with three assists. A former Croatia Under-21 international, Simunovic is currently valued at £2.25m.
This season, he’s been limited to just six appearances in the Scottish Premiership due to injury, but the fans still had questions for the centre-back on Twitter, while others poked fun at his injury record and brought up his tackle on Kenny Miller in an Old Firm derby from 2017:
Do you think your contract will now be allowed to run out due to the global pandemic?

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that are doubts regarding his future due to his poor injury record and the fact that his contract is due to expire in May 2021 (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). That said, it looks as if Simunovic has had some memorable moments in a Celtic shirt at the very least.
