Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reacting to a tweet from Tim Spiers which relayed some quotes from Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan.
In a recent interview with ESPN, the German middleman discussed Raul Jimenez and suggested that he could “get a chance in every single top-six team”, which Tim Spiers commented on and left Wolves fans reacting to his comments.
Ilkay Gundogan has said Jimenez is good enough to play for Man City. He added: "I think [Jimenez] would get a chance in every single top-six team and there's a good possibility he could do well."
Last time I checked the league table he already played for one ?

Sky & others trying to drum up interest in Raul, Adama, Neves, Jota is getting so annoying. Got worse since they’ve nothing else to write about so they’re pushing non stories. Nobody supporting the extra competition of us & Leicester, just want all players to join the old big 6

If a bid of £50 million arrived from Manchester City for Raul Jimenez, would you want it accepted?Yes, nobody is irreplaceableNo, he's worth more than that |
In his interview with ESPN, Gundogan also admitted that the Old Gold’s Mexican sensation “is good enough to play for Man City” (via Tim Spiers) and that Jimenez reminded him of Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.
So, after the Athletic journalist relayed some of the quotes to the Molineux faithful, they continued airing their reactions to what the German had to say.
Who cares so could other players zzzzz

What do we think?
With the 28-year-old striker having been the second-best performing player for Wolves in the Premier League this season – with a 7.29/10 average rating (per WhoScored) – Gundogan’s comments perhaps come as no surprise.
If the Mexican was to play for Manchester City and bag the same average rating, he would be the third-best performer for Pep Guardiola’s outfit behind Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez (per WhoScored).
