Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been gushing over Ruben Neves after a question was posed to fans on Twitter.
On Tuesday morning, @TalkingWolves asked supporters to choose one of Neves, Ruben Vinagre, Adama Traore and Pedro Neto to play for the Old Gold for the next ten years, which received a resounding response.
One of these goes onto play for Wolves for the next 10 years.

If we keep progressing the way we are, Ruben Neves will be a future captain and #WWFC legend

Definitely Neves. He’s so settled here it’s unreal – definitely future captain imo

Do you realistically believe that Ruben Neves will be at Molineux for the next ten years?Yes, if we continue our progression trajectoryNo, realistically he'll get a move to a big club |
The Portuguese midfielder has been with the Old Gold since he arrived for a Championship-record transfer fee from FC Porto in the summer of 2017 (as per BBC).
Since then Neves has featured in 125 games for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, during which he has bagged 15 goals and seven assists (per Transfermarkt) and earned the adoration of supporters.

Neves he seems pretty loyal to Wolves. Top clubs have sniffed around him since his season in the Championship, and he always puts out a statement basically letting us know he’s going no where

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses from Wolves supporters, it is clear that the Molineux faithful have quite the affinity for the Portuguese 23-year-old.
However, in terms of average rating, Adama Traore would be the clear option as his 7.61/10 average rating in the Premier League far outweighs Neves’ 6.76/10 this season (per WhoScored).
