Wolves were promoted to the Premier League on 14th April 2018 with four games of the season to spare after Fulham drew with Brentford (per BBC).

So it was, in fact, a Neal Maupay goal for Brentford which ultimately promoted Wolves from the Championship in the 1-1 draw between the Bees and Fulham (per BBC).

Fans could not help but continue to gush after the footage was posted to social media, though.

What do we think?

As can be seen in the responses from Wolves supporters, they still love a trip down memory lane to the season which saw them promoted to England’s top flight in 2018.

With the Old Gold having gone from strength to strength following their Championship promotion under Nuno Espirito Santo (per Transfermarkt), there could be an even more exciting future ahead for Wolves.
