Fans of West Ham United have been left concerned after a report emerged on the money still owed to Eintracht Frankfurt for Sebastien Haller’s transfer.
According to Claret and Hugh, the London Stadium club is looking to ‘come to an agreement’ to settle the £25-30 million still owed by the Hammers to the Bundesliga club (via @WHUFCFZ), which had fans worried.
West Ham will be looking to come to an agreement aimed at settling whatever is owed for Sebastian Haller’s transfer fee when he joined the club from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.
The Hammers are believed to owe between £25-£30 million.

Do you find the report on the remaining sum owed for Sebastien Haller to be concerning?Yes, it does not bode wellNo, not out of the ordinary |
The French striker arrived at the London Stadium last summer for a transfer fee that could rise as high as £45 million (per BBC), so, Claret and Hugh’s report would suggest that the Hammers may have paid as little as £15 million of that.
Following the report being shared to social media, though, supporters of West Ham continued airing their various concerns on the owed money for Haller.
Get the owners out we need to gwt them out we really do …protest out for me not good needs to b in the ground ..whe we get bk to normal end off really

The one thing I don’t get is why they don’t sell up they surely know that there is going to be more protests and at there age they don’t need that kind of trouble this window they should sell up so that someone willing to put their own money on the line can come in to save us

Didn’t they say last summer money was tight because they had to pay a higher than usual first payment on Haller, made it sound that most of the fee was paid up front

What do we think?
Following an admission from @ExWHUemployee in his podcast which revealed that the club may be in financial trouble at the end of the current viral outbreak (via @WHUFCFZ), £25-30 million may be difficult to come by.
As can be seen in the responses from West Ham fans, there are concerns over where the money is going to come from, concerns that the club may be embarrassed and the report provided another reason for some fans to want the owners out.
