Supporters of West Ham United have been reacting to a report on Tomas Soucek, which has stated the club’s intent to purchase the player.
According to Claret and Hugh, the Irons will find the funds to sign the Czech Republic midfielder ‘one way or another’ should the club remain in the Premier League, which had fans talking.

We will be eternally grateful to the owners if they can somehow come up with the cash to sign him…..must be so hard for them to keep our club alive… they are plotting to paint themselves as our saviours again! They must really think we are all thick!

Do you want the club to make Tomas Soucek's signing permanent?Yes, he's good enoughNo, not good enough |
The 25-year-old midfielder arrived at the club during the January transfer window on loan from Slavia Prague, however, the Hammers have the option to purchase Soucek for £13 million (per BBC).
Though after a 6.73/10 average rating over four Premier League outings since his arrival (per WhoScored), it seems he has convinced the Irons to find the funds for him ‘one way or another‘.

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from West Ham supporters, they are clearly a little frustrated that the club does not appear to have the £13 million for the transfer available to them.
However, according to @ExWHUemployee last week, the club may be in financial trouble when the current viral outbreak is over (via @WHUFCFZ), which may explain the lack of funds.
