Supporters of West Ham United have been reacting to a report which has suggested that the Hammers have concerns over Fabian Balbuena.
According to football.london, the Paraguayan defender’s ability has gone ‘drastically backwards’ after his signing in 2018 and that could lead the club to sell him, however, that may be ‘remiss’ as the Hammers need depth, which had lots of fans talking (via @WHUFCFZ).
West Ham have had real concerns over the form of Fabian Balbuena this season, and could be tempted to sell the defender this summer, if they can find a replacement.

Seriously would he command a fee?!

If I were Moyes and given the circumstances I’d pretty much stick with the same attacking options for next season, which imo r more than decent anyways and focus on a LB, CB and CM !

We have had concerns of all the players’ form

If the decision was yours on Fabian Balbuena, what would you do?SellKeep |
The 28-year-old defender signed for the Irons in the summer of 2018 for a fee of £4 million from Brazilian side Corinthians (per BBC).
However, this season the defender has picked up an uninspiring 6.67/10 average rating in the Premier League (per WhoScored), leaving some fans split in their opinion.
He is just like Ogbonna in that he needs a run of games to get going. Chopping and changing the CN’s hasn’t done any of them any favours. He is being slated for the last game where he had Sanchez in front of him which contributed to his poor performance

100% we should!
The cup game against WBA was the worst CB performance I’ve seen in a long time.
He still has a reputation & we could get around £10m, that should go straight towards Salisu (£10.5m RC) or Disasi who’s rumoured to cost under £15m!— Steven McCarthy (@StevenMcCarthy9) April 26, 2020
Balbuena hasn’t been the same player this season as the one West Ham saw excel in his first season at the club – his confidence declined massively after the international Summer and doesn’t appear to have comeback for whatever reason. A move away would be best for club and player

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from West Ham supporters, most fans believe that it would be prudent to ship out Balbuena, however, some are not so sure.
While the Paraguayan’s 6.67/10 average rating over his 13 Premier League appearances this season has been uninspiring, he has still been the 11th-best performer for the Irons (per WhoScored), meaning the decision may not be as cut and dry as some fans believe.
