Ben Johnson can actually play LB. Sell Fredericks and Masuaku, Bring in Cash, have Cash and Ngakia as our right backs and Johnson and Creswell as LBs

Would you be happy if West Ham signed Matty Cash in the next transfer window?Yes, would be a good additionNo, we don't really need him |
The 22-year-old Englishman has been the best-performing player for his side in the Championship so far this season with a solid 7.23/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
However, while some fans were pleased by these reports claiming that the Hammers are interested in Cash (per Sky Sports), some supporters were unsure if he was actually required.
I would imagine that was before the emergence of Jeremy Ngakia. We also have Ben Johnson and Ryan Fredericks. How many right backs do we need? Maybe sell Fredericks and buy a LEFT back

Not needed . We need a LB

What do we think?
While some supporters felt that Cash was not needed, due to the Irons not requiring another right-back, the Englishman is versatile and can also play in right and central midfield as well as full-back (per Transfermarkt).
Although Cash has got just over three years left on his contract, his current market value of £4.32 million (per Transfermarkt) could mean that he might be purchasable at a relatively respectable price.
