In your honest opinion, is Issa Diop actually worth £52 million? No, way over the oddsYes, he's worth that to us |
According to the report, the North London club wants to sign a ‘top-class defender with his best years ahead of him’ which Diop supposedly fits the billing of.
The report from Football Insider goes on to state that Spurs will not be spending north of £50 million on any player in the next transfer window and they will not do for the £25.2-million rated centre-back (per Transfermarkt).

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses of most West Ham supporters, they would be unhappy to see the 23-year-old defender leave the club for less than the asking price, although some would be okay with his departure.
However, while Diop does have three seasons left on his contract after the conclusion of this term, his market value of £25.2 million (per Transfermarkt) does make the supposed £52-million asking price seem a little over the odds.
