Never given a good run in one position. Technically good and bound to get stronger.

Do you think that it was a mistake for West Ham to sell Edimilson Fernandes last summer?Yes, we should have kept himNo, he was not good enough |
The 24-year-old midfielder was with the Hammers between 2016 and the summer of last year, having arrived from FC Sion (£5.76 million) and departed for FSV Mainz 05 (per Transfermarkt).
Over his time with the Irons, Fernandes made 48 appearances, during which he scored once, assisted once (per Transfermarkt) and left fans divided over his abilities.
Would have been great for us, as usual not given time

No, not really, I think he didn’t help himself (Inconsistent in skill and effort) as well as the fact that he suffered the usual over-hyped-too-much-expectation-synmdrome. Us Hammers are like that, a fickle lot sometimes!

Nope, wasn’t that great. Not better than our current midfield players. Another average one to add to the list of players we have brought in hoped would be great

It was a mistake to sell him

What do we think?
Over the duration of the Bundesliga season so far, the Swiss national has been the seventh-worst performer for his new club with a 6.43/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
Despite his average rating suggesting that West Ham were right to sell the central midfielder, it appears that some supporters still do not share that view.
