Fans of West Ham United have been slating Manuel Lanzini after the club shared an image of the Argentine midfielder to their Twitter account.

On Monday afternoon, the Hammers posted a photo of the middleman in which their 27-year-old had stated that he was missing playing for the Irons (per West Ham), however, supporters responded negatively.

The 27-year-old midfielder has been the 12th-best performer for the Hammers in the Premier League so far this season with a 6.65/10 average rating (per WhoScored).

However, following the club’s image Twitter post (per West Ham), supporters continued to air that they did not miss the Argentine playing for the Irons.

What do we think?

It is sad to see so many West Ham supporters react negatively to what is a nice message from the 27-year-old midfielder and a real shame to see how fans regard Lanzini.

However, it is perhaps his return of zero goals and two assists in 19 Premier League appearances this season (per WhoScored) which has left fans disappointed.
