West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest news surrounding defender Issa Diop.
This comes after Hammers fan Twitter account @whufc_news shared a post on their page relaying news originally shared in a transfer Q&A with Sky Sports News reporters Kaveh Solhekol and Dharmesh Sheth.
The post claimed that West Ham manager David Moyes was “not convinced by Diop when he took over at the London Stadium. However his opinion of the Frenchman has changed, and he will only be sold for ‘big money’ this summer”.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Hammers fans who were eager to share their responses to this revelation.
Here’s a sample of West Ham fans responding to the post:

I was not convinced about David Moyes when he joined, I’m still not, he can go for free in the summer.

David Maoyes was basically wrong on every single player when he took over at London Stadium.

Probably still doesn’t rate him but wants the price increases

Should West Ham cash in on Diop or keep him at the club?
Cash in
Keep him
The 23-year-old, who is currently valued at £31.5 million according to Transfermarkt, has been given an overall season rating of 6.7/10, making him West Ham’s ninth-highest rated player so far this campaign (per WhoScored). Now that it has been reported that the London club could be willing to depart with the defender for a large sum of money, this news has not gone down well with these Hammers fans who couldn’t help but air their frustrations on Twitter.
VERY worried about Moyes’ judgement and how it changes. First Fornals and now this…seriously don’t know what he’s watching sometimes. Would hate to see a good player sold because Moyes, the man who rates Fellaini and Januzaj, didn’t rate them.

Never, money doesn’t bring u success keeping our best players together , remember Ferdinand Scholes Giggs Beckham , they didn’t sell them at their peak or close to it , we can keep Diop Fornals Rice Bowen Lanzini Anderson Haller , then get 2 quality defenders and CM and Striker

This sums up *everything* that is broken with our club.

What do we think?
It appears from these replies that these West Ham fans don’t agree with Moyes’ reported stance on Diop. The fact that they want the defender to stay at the London Stadium just goes to show how much they like and rate his ability.
