Averaging just over a goal contribution every other game. Absolutely ridiculous.

@Mattghillyer Unbelievable season from that man! (No disrespect) but imagine if we had Arnie up top instead of the the magic man. Shame they weren’t at the club at the same time

What do we think?
While some West Ham fans appear to have mixed feelings about Payet, it is hard to deny that during his time at the club, he was extraordinary.
In 63 appearances, he scored 15 goals and provided 23 assists, firing West Ham to a seventh-place finish in the 2015/16 Premier League table.
However, after Payet went on strike in order to force a move through to Marseille in 2017, opinion of the Frenchman soured somewhat at the London Stadium, with then-manager Slaven Bilic commenting: “I feel let down. I feel angry.”
Despite this, West Ham fans still clearly recognise the contributions Payet made throughout his time at the club, and looking at the recently posted footage, it is not hard to see why.
