Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been discussing the latest update Alasdair Gold recently put out regarding the Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko training saga.
Gold’s tweet concerned Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko and their joint statement after they had ignored government lockdown regulations to undergo training together. The joint statement was an apology from both the Spurs players and the tweet had a link for that, after previously sharing the news of the pair’s training videos.
On seeing the tweet that Gold put out, many Spurs fans were raging. They don’t think Aurier and Sissoko did the right thing at all.
The club and its players are beyond a joke. Really is a depressing time to be spurs fan.

We are becoming such a laughing stock we can’t even follow strict government instructions ?????

Should Spurs sell Aurier and Sissoko for this?
Yes, sell them
Don't sell them
Just a pair of attention seekers and those who enjoy the media frenzy. They didn’t have to film or post

Use it as an excuse to sell them

Aurier still manages to drop a clanger even when there’s been no football for months

Absolute idiots. Spurs need to come out with a serious explanation for these continuing breaches by some. Just embarrassing

Per Football.London, Aurier and Sissoko apologised for ‘not setting the right example’. They also said that they have the ‘responsibility’ to be ‘role models’ for people during these times and lauded the NHS for the work that they’re putting it.
What do we think?
Since this case defies government laws, one can see why Spurs fans are not happy with the two players. This comes after Jose Mourinho had taken individual training with Tanguy Ndombele and that too had seen him apologise for breaking government rules.
This shows that this isn’t a one-off incident. Since incidents like these are happening regularly, Spurs fans are right to be angry at the club.
