Spurs fans have flocked to a tweet from Harry Kane after the 26-year-old wished his followers a Happy St George’s Day.
The England captain posted on his Twitter page, saying: “Happy St George’s Day everyone! During times like these, it’s amazing to see the strength and togetherness of everyone in the country. Stay home, stay safe.” So far this season, the striker has scored 17 goals in all competitions for the Lilywhites, despite having been sidelined since January with a hamstring injury.
The academy graduate will no doubt be hoping to have a big impact on the rest of Spurs’ season should the Premier League season resume from its current suspension, with Jose Mourinho’s side currently sitting in eighth position in the top flight.

Hopefully, Spurs and England fans will be able to see Kane back at his best in the near future, with the 26-year-old seemingly close to a full recovery from his hamstring injury.
