Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest transfer rumour linking them with a move for West Ham defender Issa Diop in the summer transfer window.
According to Foot Mercato (via Hotspur Related), the north London club have been in constant contact with the French defender over a potential summer transfer. The report also suggests that he is keen on a move and recently spoke with Serge Aurier about the club.
So far this season, the 23-year-old has averaged a disappointing 6.70 rating across his 23 appearances in the Premier League and could well be keen on a move away from the London Stadium considering the Hammers’ underwhelming campaign. Mourinho is certainly a fan of the defender, having described him as a ‘monster’ during his time as Manchester United boss.

Although Diop has not enjoyed the best of seasons with West Ham, he is still young and could prove to be a long-term replacement for Jan Vertonghen – who may be set to leave this summer with his contract expiring.
