Spurs fans have flocked to a club post on Twitter wishing Aaron Lennon a happy birthday.
The former Spurs man, who is currently plying his trade with Burnley, celebrated his 33rd birthday this week and the North London club were quick to pass on their well-wishes via Twitter. In his time with the Lilywhites, the winger would make 364 appearances; contributing 30 goals and 77 assists.
The former England international eventually left Spurs to sign for Everton in 2015, before later joining Burnley in 2018. The 33-year-old has struggled for game-time somewhat this season; having made just four starts in the Premier League for Sean Dyche’s side; averaging a disappointing 6.08 rating, according to WhoScored.

Loved Lennon in full flight down the wing! That counter v AC Milan away in CL was the reason why we got to 1/4’s.. no one else could’ve pulled that off

These Spurs fans were clearly big fans of Lennon during his time with the club and were quick to praise the winger in response to the club’s birthday post.
What do we think?
Considering that Lennon is now 33 and struggling for game time, it may not be too long until he retires from the game, but he will certainly have a lot of memories to look back on from his time at Tottenham, judging by how much the Spurs fans replying to his post seemed to love his time at the club.
