Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing a possible move for Thomas Meunier after it was suggested that the North London club are now in ‘pole position’ to sign the right-back this summer.
According to French news outlet L’Equipe, as per GFFN (via Ricky Sacks), the Lilywhites look set to complete the signing of the 28-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window, with his contract with PSG set to expire in June. So far this season, the Belgian international has made 16 appearances in Ligue 1; averaging a solid 6.95 rating for his performances.
He has also been a regular for Thomas Tuchel in PSG’s Champions League campaign; averaging an impressive 7.08 rating in his five appearances in that competition. In total, the right-back, who can also play further forward, has featured 128 times for Les Parisiens; contributing 13 goals and 21 assists in the process.

These Spurs fans seem keen on the possible signing of Meunier and will be hoping that the club can finalise a deal for the right-back this summer.
What do we think?
Considering Meunier has been a regular in the PSG side this season and is currently valued at £21.6 million, Spurs potentially getting him on a free transfer could prove to be great business.
