Spurs fans have been discussing the rumours linking former manager Mauricio Pochettino with a move to Newcastle United.
According to Sky Sports (via Daily Hotspur), the Argentinian is one of the leading names to replace current manager Steve Bruce should the takeover go through and the current Magpies boss be replaced. The Premier League is in the process of ratifying a proposed £300 million takeover of the North East club, with Bruce set to be given until the end of the season to prove he is the man to deliver European football.
Pochettino was sacked as Spurs boss in November after a dreadful start to the season, just a few months after he had guided the North London club to the Champions League final.
Do you think Pochettino could join Newcastle?

Would make no sense to him. Another rebuild job? Why? He can go to Europe’s elite

Stop stressing us we know Levy messed up by firing him, and that Newcastle will buy every player we ever dreamt of, just stop

He’d do well there if backed and the fans would adore him

These Spurs fans seem quite concerned that Pochettino could join Newcastle United in the near future.
What do we think?
If Newcastle’s takeover goes through, then whoever they manage to appoint looks set to be backed with a lot of funds, so it would be interesting to see how Pochettino would do there if he was given the money he needed to rebuild.
