Spurs fans have been discussing some footage of former midfielder Mousa Dembele after it was shared on Twitter.
The Spurs Web shared a video of the Belgian after it was created by Twitter user MBS, and it has attracted the attention of plenty of supporters of the North London club on Twitter. The former Fulham ace made 249 appearances for the Lilywhites, contributing 10 goals and 12 assists.
However, injuries proved to be an issue for the midfielder in the latter stages of his Spurs career and he was sold to Chinese side Guangzhou R&F in January of last year. So far this season, the 32-year-old has impressed in the Chinese Super League, averaging a superb 7.41 rating for his performances.
If Dembele was injury-free, would he still be at Spurs?

We didn’t appreciate what we had and we’ve not been the same team since.

Dembele was clearly highly rated amongst Spurs fans, who seem disappointed that he was let go.
What do we think?
If it wasn’t for his injury problems, you imagine that Dembele might still be at Spurs, as these fans all seem to agree that he was a seriously talented player. Perhaps if Tanguy Ndombele sorts out his fitness issues, he can be regarded by Spurs fans in the same mould as Dembele is in a few years’ time.
