Spurs fans have been discussing a tweet from Dele Alli after he revealed he would be supporting a national child nutrition charity during these difficult times.
He tweeted out a video of himself, saying: “Proud to be supporting @magic_breakfast and doing all I can do to help them during these difficult times. They’re currently still trying to provide food for 48,000 children across the country at risk of going hungry.” This has earned the 23-year-old some credit with Spurs fans, but it seems as if some fans are still frustrated that the players at the North London club are set to continue earning their full wage, whilst it was announced earlier in the week that non-playing staff would only earn 80%.
So far this season, the former MK Dons man has averaged a 6.96 rating for his performances in the Premier League, having contributed eight goals and four assists in the top-flight.
Should people be critcising Alli after his support for the charity?
Yes, he should be doing more
No, it's a lot better than doing nothing
Reaction from Spurs fans to the post from Alli can be seen in the tweets below.
Well done Dele. My school had many children depending on their magic bagels for breakfast. This is a great charity and your support will help to highlight the excellent work it does.

These Spurs fans are clearly delighted with Alli’s tweet and praised him for his efforts during these difficult times.
What do we think?
It is good to see Alli making a contribution, but it seems that until Premier League players take a voluntary pay cut, they will continue to be criticised.
