Tottenham supporters have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays comments made by Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford on current Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.
In an interview with The Official Manchester United Podcast, Rashford claims that Mourinho is largely responsible for his development as a player, stating: “As an all-round player I have improved a lot, and a lot of it is down to those two years under Jose.”
In reaction to his comments, which were relayed by Hotspur Related on Twitter, fans of Spurs have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that the level of abuse the Portuguese manager received while at Manchester United was ‘crazy’, while others have taken the opportunity to call for Rashford, who is valued at £57.6 million (as per Transfermarkt), to join Spurs.

What do we think?
Rashford’s comments come as a slight surprise, as the forward scored just 28 goals in 125 fixtures under Mourinho at United – the same amount he has managed in just 58 games under his current boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
However, it appears that his comments have delighted the Spurs fans, with many taking Rashford’s remarks as a sign of good things to come under Mourinho.
