Spurs fans have been reacting on Twitter to the reported news that Jose Mourinho is interested in signing Wolves striker Raul Jimenez this summer.
According to Soccer Link (via Ricky Sacks), the Portuguese manager wants the Tottenham board to complete the signing of the Mexican international ahead of next summer in order to offer competition to Harry Kane. So far this season, the 28-year-old has impressed in his performances for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side; averaging a 7.29 rating for his performances in the top-flight, having contributed 13 goals and six assists.
Mourinho’s side were forced to cope without a natural striker in the squad for three months following the hamstring injury suffered by Kane in January, so it is no surprise to see them being linked with a striker ahead of the 2020/21 campaign. However, with Wolves currently ahead of Spurs in the table, it may be tough to convince him to make the move to the Lilywhites this summer.
Do Spurs have any chance of signing Jimenez this summer?

Would be a good signing

Exquisite. Then two up top will be fantastic and both will provide elite link up play with the wide players and other attackers. Also slows to give one a rest and play the other as well as play both at same time

These Spurs fans clearly feel that Jimenez would be a great signing for the club.
What do we think?
Although Jimenez might be a great signing for Spurs; considering he has hit 26 goals in 67 appearances in the Premier League, he is currently valued at £36 million by Transfermarkt so it would surely prove to be an expensive deal for the North London club.
