Spurs fans have flocked to a tweet from Harry Kane after he shared a post suggesting that he, and several other Premier League players, have created a player initiative which will see money given to the NHS.

The England captain posted an image with all the details on how Premier League players would be contributing to the National Health Service to help deal with the current viral outbreak. The 26-year-old has spent the last few months recovering from a hamstring tear he suffered early in January but is still Spurs’ top scorer this season in all competitions, having hit 17 goals before his injury.

With the Premier League currently suspended, players will no doubt be keen to do all they can to help deal with the viral outbreak, perhaps in the hope that it soon becomes safe for football to return. If the Premier League does return this season, then the Englishman could have a big impact on whether the North London club are able to secure Champions League football next season, as they slipped to eighth in the table in his absence.
