Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the reported news that the north London club are interested in signing Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell this summer.
According to Football Insider (via Ricky Sacks), the Lilywhites are set to ramp up their efforts to sign the Norwich City ace, with contact with the Canaries having now been initiated. The report suggests that Spurs believe the 22-year-old is capable of playing both internationally and in the Champions League, but they will face competition from the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for his signature.
The young midfielder has enjoyed an impressive debut season in the Premier League, having contributed six goals and two assists in 29 appearances for Daniel Farke’s side, averaging a solid 6.71 rating (per WhoScored).

These Spurs fans seem to be in agreement that Cantwell would be an excellent signing for the future.
What do we think?
Should Norwich be relegated this season, they may well be keen to cash in on a talent such as Cantwell after his impressive first season in the top flight, so it will be interesting how much they would be willing to sell the £18 million-rated man for should Spurs make an official approach.
