Spurs fans have been discussing an old image of Mauricio Pochettino looking very upset following the Champions League final defeat against Liverpool after it emerged on Twitter.
A Spurs fan shared the image of the Argentinian manager, alongside his backroom staff, looking extremely upset, with the caption: “I sometimes look back and just wonder man, what if…”
This has attracted the attention of plenty of fellow supporters of the north London club on Twitter, who were keen to share their opinions on the former manager.
The 48-year-old led Spurs to the Champions League final last season, where they eventually succumbed to Liverpool 2-0 but was sacked less than six months later after a dreadful start to the Premier League campaign.
Should Pochettino have left after the CL final?

I said it at the time and still stand by this. The chairman and board didn’t listen to him . He made it clear we required new blood a rebuild and to move some guys on. They hung him out to dry then sacked him

These Spurs fans are clearly still feeling the pain of losing the Champions League final and also seem to miss their former manager.
What do we think?
Winning the Champions League final would perhaps have been the best way for Pochettino to finish his career with Spurs, and hopefully he will be remembered for the remarkable run to the final rather than the final itself and the months that followed.
