Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing the latest reports on Tanguy Ndombele, which suggest that the midfielder is ‘genuinely affected’ by Jose Mourinho’s management style.
According to French news outlet L’Equipe (via Talking THFC), the 23-year-old’s performances have been negatively impacted by Mourinho’s ‘up-and-down’ management style. Spurs signed the French international from Lyon for a club-record fee during the summer, but he has struggled to make much of an impact in his debut season in the Premier League, averaging a disappointing 6.76 rating for his performances in the top flight.
The midfielder has struggled with fitness problems throughout the campaign, managing to complete 90 minutes on just five occasions for the North London club.
Do you think Ndombele will still be at Spurs next season?
Yes
No
Reaction from Spurs fans to the report on Ndombele can be seen in the tweets below.
He is overrated, fat and doesn’t respect the club, wake up and seel him.

Or maybe the two extra stone he has been carrying all season?

We cant baby a football player who is paid a lot to play well for the club. But jose’s style of management has caused issues with players at previous clubs

He looks so soft physically. Gross.

Because of course until Jose turned up he was on fire

These Spurs fans seem to agree that Ndombele might just be making excuses for his poor performances so far this season.
What do we think?
If Ndombele is struggling under Mourinho’s management style, perhaps we could see the £46.8-million rated man leave in the summer, as the Portuguese manager’s contract is set to run until 2023.
