Spurs fans have been reacting to the reported news that the club have made a bid for Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Turkish news outlet Fanatik (via Ricky Sacks), the North London club have tabled a £22 million bid for the Kosovan international. So far this season, the 25-year-old has enjoyed an impressive campaign in the Super Lig; averaging a superb 7.46 rating on WhoScored.com, having contributed 13 goals and four assists in 25 games in the Turkish top-flight this term.
A hamstring injury suffered by Harry Kane in early January ruled the 26-year-old out of action until April, as per Tottenham’s official website. As Spurs were without a natural striker in their senior squad while Kane was injured, it is easy to argue that the Lilywhites need to strengthen in that position ahead of next season, especially if the England captain were to suffer another injury.
Would Muriqi be a good signing for Spurs?

If I’m honest this guy did bully England’s back 4 for Kosovo…I think we could do with a bully boy upfront to bring on and start certain games…I’d even go as far as saying we could play two up top with kane as a support striker…throw Dele up there n all sitting behind them??

These Spurs fans seem to be happy that the club have reportedly made a bid for Muriqi, with a couple of fans remembering his performance for Kosovo against England; when he scored in a 5-3 defeat.
What do we think?
Muriqi’s goal-scoring record with club and country this season has been impressive and he looks as if he could be a great back-up to Kane next season should he make the move to the North London club.
