Spurs fans have been discussing a report from Sky Sports which suggests that the North London club are expected to be very active in the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports (via Ricky Sacks), the Portuguese manager is far from happy with his squad and will be looking to bring in around six players in the summer window. News reporter Kaveh Solhekol suggests that:
“When Mourinho got the Spurs job, he said he was happy with his squad. He didn’t mean it. He was just saying the right thing. There are problems all over the Spurs squad and it’s going to take more than just one window to fix them. And somehow he has to convince Daniel Levy to spend big again.” per Sky Sports.
“Overall you are looking at Spurs needing to sign six players to refresh their squad. On top of that, they need to hold on to Kane. He made it clear this week that although he loves Spurs, he won’t stick around if the club are not moving in the right direction. To do that they need to spend – when the window opens.” per Sky Sports.
Do you think that Mourinho will overhaul his squad this summer?

He won’t get anyone, moan about it and get sacked 4 months later.

They are the players Jose wants, now its up to Levy to identify MUCH cheaper alternatives

These Spurs fans don’t seem too convinced that Mourinho will be able to bring in six new players whilst Levy is still in charge.
What do we think?
Spurs definitely need defensive reinforcements in the summer, considering they have kept just four clean sheets in the Premier League all season and will most likely lose Jan Vertonghen when his contract expires in the summer. A back-up to Harry Kane also seems to be a priority, as the Lilywhites were forced to play without a natural striker for the last three months after the England captain suffered a hamstring tear in January.
