Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing former midfielder Paul Gascoigne and his time at the north London club.
A Spurs fanpage asked Spurs fans how they would describe the former England international to someone who had never seen him play, which attracted plenty of Lilywhites supporters in the replies. The 52-year-old, who was affectionately known as ‘Gazza’ during his playing days, made 112 appearances for the North London club between 1988-1991, scoring 33 goals (per Tottenham Hotspur).
The midfielder also helped Spurs to an FA Cup win in 1991, having scored an extraordinary free-kick against north London rivals Arsenal in the semi-final at Wembley (per Tottenham Hotspur).
