What do we think?
Many Spurs fans appear to be happy with the claims that their club have reportedly opened talks for the £19.8 million-rated Lille ‘keeper, and after looking at the 24-year-old’s stats from this season, it is not hard to see why.
The French international has kept 12 league clean sheets so far this season, while conceding just 27 goals in 28 Ligue 1 appearances, as well as averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.58 in the competition.
As such, it would appear that Maignan could yet come in and challenge Hugo Lloris for the Spurs number-one jersey.
