A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have responded to a tweet asking them if they would sign Willian on a free in the summer.
The 31-year-old is out of contract at Stamford Bridge and has claimed that it will be ‘very difficult’ for him to renew his contract because Chelsea offered him a two-year contract, but he wanted three, and he claims that negotiations have now ended.
This led Lilywhite Rose to ask Spurs fans if they would take Willian, and this received a mixed reaction – with some not so keen.
Would you be pleased if Spurs signed Willian?
Yes, good signing
No, don't want him
Linked with a free transfer to #thfc this summer, Willian(31), has said "I think it will be very difficult for me to renew because Chelsea offered me two years, I asked for three and it ended there, we don't talk anymore, we didn't negotiate anymore".

For free, yes.

Yes. Proven premier league experience. A Mourinho favourite. If the gaffer wants him then I’d get behind it! COYS!

I’d definitely take him as an alternative off the bench! Never injured so gives us a bit of depth. He’s free and we don’t have a lot of money for transfer kitty

What do we think?
When Willian signed for Chelsea in 2013, he turned down Spurs and has gone on to win five trophies, make 329 appearances and score 59 goals for the Blues.
However, it looks like his time is up, and he did play for Spurs boss Jose Mourinho on 114 occasions.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham make a move for a player who initially rejected them.
