A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have responded to a tweet from The Spurs Web showing a Champions League night at White Hart Lane.
The night in question happened in 2010 and ended in a 3-1 win for Spurs over Inter Milan.
The tweet from The Spurs Web includes a video that shows Gareth Bale at his best as he ripped Maicon apart.
The clip includes the Welshman bursting past the Brazilian defender on numerous occasions and getting to the byline to get cross after cross into the box.
Was this one of the best European nights at the Lane?
Yes, it was incredible
No, it was good but others have been better
Peter Crouch misses the first one (0:07), but he then makes up for it in the second clip when he gets on the end of Bale’s cross and scores. (0:24)
The final clip shows Bale at his best as he picks up the ball deep in his own half (0:43) and advances forward with a big touch that takes him past a few Inter players (0:45) – he then shows the composure to pick out Roman Pavlyuchenko who slots the ball home. (0:51)
It was a special display from the Welshman, and it is no wonder these Spurs fans are gushing over it and the night.
The night Gareth Bale sent Maicon for a Taxi and Spurs smashed Inter Milan at White Hart Lane… And it never gets old.
