Some Southampton fans have been left to mock footage involving Theo Walcott that went viral on social media recently.
The Southampton Twitter account recently posted a video of Walcott doing some kick-ups as a youngster during his time at St. Mary’s. They asked fans to guess what happened next.
Was Walcott right to leave Southampton for Arsenal?

Walcott was a part of Southampton’s first team from 2005 to the winter of 2006, when he left to join Arsenal. During his time at Southampton, the winger made 22 senior appearances in all competitions for the club, according to Transfermarkt, scoring five goals for them, with four of them coming in the Championship.
He is currently at Everton and as per Transfermarkt, has missed 72 games due to injury since the start of the 2013/14 season.
What do we think?
The comments of the Southampton fans show that they still appear angry that Walcott left them to join Arsenal, despite the Saints playing second-tier football at the time. But considering how both teams are in the same division and there is currently only a six-point gap between them shows that the Saints can be happy with how things have gone since then.
