A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from the Evening Chronicle from earlier this week, which claims that the Toon are interested in former Sunderland forward Fabio Borini.
A report in Tutto Hellas Verona claims the Toon are interested in taking the Italian to St. James’ Park.
However, this has not gone down well with these Newcastle fans, who clearly don’t want the 29-year-old.
Would you want Borini at Newcastle?

What do we think?
Borini made 111 appearances in the Premier League and scored just 16 goals – not exactly a stellar record.
He also played for Sunderland and scored three goals against Newcastle in his time in England – so he might not be the most popular player at St. James’ Park.
Also, the Toon are in the middle of a proposed takeover, so we are not sure that speculating who they are going to buy is the right thing to do when no official announcement on the takeover has been made yet.
Judging by the replies to this tweet, though, it is clear that one man Newcastle fans don’t want on Tyneside is Borini.
