A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a tweet from former footballer Curtis Woodhouse as he gave his view on the proposed takeover of the Toon.
He claimed that once this takeover goes through, Newcastle fans will have someone else to moan at.
He also said that ‘this lot take deluded to a whole new level’ and that the Magpies are a ‘massive club in Newcastle’, but nowhere else.
This tweet from Woodhouse has not gone down well with these Toon fans.
Are you angered by this tweet?
Yes, he is wrong

Yea I’m sure he’d say that if he was ever offered the chance to manage them ? Besides most fans don’t bang on about being a big club.. just want something to get excited about! Not sure whats so hard for people to understand about that ?????

What do we think?
Woodhouse, a former Sheffield United player and current manager of Gainsborough Trinity, received a lot of replies to this tweet, and it is clear that he has annoyed many Newcastle fans.
Woodhouse’s claim seems to be a bit off considering that under Mike Ashley, Newcastle have been relegated twice and made a mockery of the likes of Alan Shearer and Kevin Keegan – as well as numerous other things.
If this proposed takeover goes through, then the Toon might have a club that they can be proud of once again.
Therefore, we don’t agree with Woodhouse’s tweet.
