A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a claim made by Richard Keys.
The BeIN Sports host was speaking on their online show with Andy Gray and claimed that there was another bid on the table for the Toon.
The former Sky Sports presenter also insisted that Mike Ashley would prefer this second bid to come off rather than the one from PIF, PCP, and the Reuben brothers.
This has drawn the attention of these Newcastle fans, who don’t believe a word Keys is saying.
Do you believe this claim from Keys?
No, he knows nothing
Yes, he might be right
"I know for a fact there is a second bid and Mike Ashley would prefer it to succeed."

What do we think?
The proposed takeover of Newcastle now rests with the Premier League after everything was agreed with Ashley and a deposit has been paid.
So, for Keys to claim that Ashley would prefer this alleged other bid is an odd thing to say.
The 63-year-old is also on record as saying he wished that the Saudis were not buying the Toon. (6:50)
So, it is clear from that comment that he may have a certain level of bias against Newcastle, and therefore we believe that Toon fans should ignore this comment from Keys.
