A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to mock the Evening Chronicle for publishing a story about why Ayoze Perez celebrates with his two fingers in his ears.
Speaking in a live Q & A with Leicester City fans, the Spaniard said that he started the celebration last season because of the stick he was getting from some Toon fans.
However, this has not surprised many Newcastle fans who feel that it was obvious that Perez started this celebration because of some Toon fans.
Did you already know about Perez's celebration?

What do we think?
Perez made 195 appearances and scored 48 goals for the Toon before he departed for the King Power last summer in a deal worth £30m.
Last season he told David Coverdale that he had invented this celebration because of the stick he received from some fans – so this is not new information to many Newcastle fans.
We, therefore, understand why these Toon fans think that this story from the Chronicle was pointless.
